My name is Deana Blondell and my business Magick Unleashed began as a passion project with my YouTube channel where I create videos about spirituality and wellness. It has since expanded to encompass so much more. I am a certified Sound Healer, certified level 3 Reiki Healer and Tarot Reader. I also have experience in leading groups through breath work and empowering spiritual workshops. My goal with Magick Unleashed is to share practices to help others unleash their inner magick and empower them to be their most authentic selves.
My Sound Healing journey has always been a part of me, though I’ve only actively been doing Sound Baths for events since 2024 (after I purchased my first set of bowls November 2023). I have always loved music: I have been playing guitar since I was 9-years-old and love singing and dabbling with as many instruments I can get my hands on. As I dove deeper into my spiritual practice, I discovered the power of sound healing. It felt like two important parts of my soul finally met and were now dancing together. In 2022 I began my online training of Sound Healing with Life Changing Energy and eventually completed three levels of courses.
Finally able to complete my practical part of the test with my bowls, I started putting myself out there and performing at events. Through networking and being my most authentic self, these last couple years have been absolutely magickal. I’ve had the opportunity to share Sound Baths in a variety of spaces and collaborate with so many beautiful people and small businesses. I truly believe all of this is a blessing and gift from the universe because this path has helped me to become more connected to my local community.
This is the one thing I needed the most because I uprooted my life in 2023 and moved from my home in Barrie to Windsor for my boyfriend’s career. This separated me from my family, friends, my job and everything I was familiar with. I had to start over in a new city, and community was what I wanted more than anything. I put that intention into the universe and then followed the breadcrumbs. This truly feels like what I’m meant to do.
I am a Sound Healer, Tarot Reader, Reiki Master, and YouTuber/Content Creator. I have created and lead various spiritual workshops both in person and online. I am also in the process of completing the Breath work course (So I am certified-though I have experience in breath work). I also am currently working through the Vocal Vibrations and Herbalism Essentials Courses.
I wouldn't say I am more deserving of this title than any of the other healers, there are so many souls that have worked so hard and done beautiful things. But what I do want to say is I am proud of myself and how far I have come. And my friends and family have told me the same thing. I was able to start with nothing, in a new city, without knowing anyone, and have really built something beautiful that is actively growing. And in doing this, I've also been able to positively impact and inspire other people in my community. That is what I want most: I want to be able to do work that is fulfilling and transformative. I have seen how much Sound Healing can help. I've had people come up to me after a Sound Bath and tell me how they are always stressed and over thinking and this experience is the most relaxed they've been. Their mind was silent for the first time in their life. That is the kind of feedback that tells me that I need to continue this work. I feel like winning this would really help me continue to grow my magickal business.
