About The Contestant: Today I am a shaman, Master Sound & Energy Healer, author and teacher, but those are simply names for work that continues to grow and bloom with me. I came to this work through living, through learning what it means to live authentically, trust what I know and honor the wisdom gathered through my own experiences. As I allowed that knowing room to breathe, it naturally grew into a deeper relationship with sound, frequency, plants, the Earth and my own shamanism.

I have always carried a knowing that there is so much more to understand, more to learn, more to create and more within ourselves still waiting to be discovered. Finding that more asks me to return again and again to my stillpoint, where I can become quiet enough to truly listen and open enough to follow the energy as it begins to move. Much of what I have created in my life has come from listening in this way, allowing curiosity to lead me rather than believing I already know where the path is going.

My work today weaves singing bowls, tuning forks, sound, light, breath, plant wisdom and intuition into experiences that invite others into that same stillness. My travels, time with shamans in Bali, collaborations with other healers and musicians, and especially the humans who trust me to share this space with them continue to expand what I know while reminding me just how much there will always be left to discover.

JusB* lives within all of it—the stillpoint, the listening, the curiosity to keep learning and the courage to follow the energy into whatever wants to grow next. I don't need to know exactly where it will lead because I have learned to trust what happens when I become still enough to hear it, open enough to receive it and willing enough to follow.

What makes you the healer of the year?: What makes me Healer of the Year is how deeply I continue to grow into this work and how that growth finds its way into every person and space I serve. From learning alongside shamans in Bali to collaborating with other Master Sound Healers, I have grown more deeply into my own shamanism, and something rather profound has happened along the way—my bowls resonate differently because I do. My clients feel it, and I feel it.

Last year, this experience lifted me to 7th place among 177 incredible Sound & Energy Healers. More than the placement, I found myself in an energetic space where I felt I belonged. That surprised me, strengthened my confidence and pushed me deeper into this work.

I don't believe I heal people. I hold space, listen deeply and allow sound, frequency, Earth and spirit to help people hear the wisdom already within themselves.

Placing in the top three would bring new instruments into that work, allowing me to reach even further and offer more to the humans who find their way to me. An honor received by one healer becomes resonance carried to many.
