What started as a search for the 2025 Sound & Energy Healer of the Year became something much bigger — thousands of people around the world discovering, celebrating, and supporting the healers making a difference in their communities.
And this was only year one.

I just have to say this.... even though I was eliminated after the first round.... and i know it's not personal for sure... I gained so much more from this than winning prizes. This contest propelled me too start making videos... and that led to helping my friend and neighbor do videos of her tarot readings, and that led to us doing videos together... and now there's discussion of a potential podcast....etc. so every single entrant has an opportunity to gain so much from this. Couple that with raising money for such an amazing non profit at the same time and it's a beautiful thing! I've also been gifted with the result of becoming friends with other healers that I didn't know very well before this! And i hope to gain even more.. I can't say just how very honored I am to have been nominated. I didn't make it past Round One but just looking at the list of the other amazing individuals, I couldn't believe that I was able to stand there. I have done amazing amazing things over the past few years but THIS.... As I told my students, this is giving me an opportunity to share my story but also to join the Global Sound Practitioner Alliance and to share the story of the soon to come Supernaturally Experience film. I am reminded of the day a long time ago when Sally Field won the Best Actress Oscar and she said.... (To my supporters) "I can't deny the fact that you like me right now, you really like me!" The results are in, and I landed in 21st place in the Sound & Energy Healer of the Year 2025 Contest 
While I did not make the Top 10, that’s the last thing on my heart and mind in this moment of gratitude. To even be able to say I was among the initial 175+ healers from across 40 U.S. states and 11 other countries - including Canada, Australia, England, Germany, Argentina, China, Portugal, Scotland (UK), the United Arab Emirates, Spain, and Antigua - is truly an honor. But to now be able to say I'm among the Top 25 is meaningful beyond measure - and you all helped make that happen. I know I asked for votes a lot over the past few weeks, but every single vote counted toward helping me progress. More importantly, every single vote helped progress the global sound and energy healing movement that’s inspiring hope, love, connection, and community around the world. The contest also directly supported the Brighter Healing Foundation and its immersive film, “Supernaturally: Enter Portals of Possibility” that will spread the power of sound healing even farther. At the end of the day, we all share the same mission of transforming lives and raising the vibration of the planet through the use of sound and energy, so my hope is that I made an impact simply by entering, participating, and raising awareness. Thank you to the Global Sound Practitioner Alliance, Brighter Healing Foundation, and Life Changing Energy for hosting this beautiful moment in the history of these ancient practices. And thank you from the depths of my soul to everyone who took time and energy out of their days to vote. It's my profound honor to create and hold space for you to progress on your personal journey by offering immersive, non-invasive, and meaningful healing opportunities through sound and energy work. So, I’m incredibly grateful for this support since this Finalist recognition alone will help me expand my capacity to hold space for those in need by sharing sound healing across West Michigan and around the world to help everyone radiate their brightest light. Thanks so much Vickie and your amazing support team for this opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and step into the light. I have to say it was fun and stressful at the same time. They are people who care deeply for others and their wellbeing, and I’m so honored to have stood alongside them — and the many others who stepped out of their comfort zones to share their gifts and highlight the sound healing community. I almost didn’t participate, afraid of being surrounded by such experienced, long-standing practitioners. But what I discovered is that they don’t compete — at least not in the negative sense. While it was a contest, the energy was one of connection, support, and encouragement. They welcomed me with open hearts and kind words, creating a sense of belonging I had been searching for and hadn’t yet found.
