Terms & Conditions
Any level of participation requires agreement to the terms listed below
Sound & Energy Healer of the Year 2026
Official Terms & Conditions
A. General
-
The Sound & Energy Healer of the Year 2026 Contest (the “Contest”) is open worldwide to natural persons age 18 or older (“Contestants”), except where participation is prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
GSPA reserves the right to determine eligibility based upon applicable legal or regulatory requirements in a Contestant’s jurisdiction.
-
The Contest is administered by the Global Sound Practitioner Alliance (“GSPA” or the “Contest Administrator”).
Brighter Healing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the charitable organization designated to receive donations made in connection with additional paid voting during the Contest.
Payments made for additional votes are charitable donations to Brighter Healing Foundation. They are not payments to a Contestant and are not purchases from GSPA.
All such donations are final and non-refundable except where a refund or reversal is required by applicable law.
-
By entering or participating in the Contest, Contestants agree to these Terms & Conditions together with any official Contest dates, voting rules, FAQs, prize information, advancement criteria, instructions, or other information published or communicated by GSPA in connection with the Contest (“Contest Information”).
-
These Terms & Conditions control the Contest.
Official Contest Information may supplement these Terms & Conditions with specific dates, round mechanics, advancement numbers, vote adjustments, group structures, and other operational details.
Contest Information may not materially contradict these Terms & Conditions unless GSPA expressly identifies the amendment and publishes it in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
-
GSPA may modify, suspend, postpone, extend, or cancel all or part of the Contest when reasonably necessary due to fraud, illegality, technical failure, security concerns, platform failure, force majeure, circumstances outside GSPA’s reasonable control, or circumstances that make continued operation materially unfair or impracticable.
GSPA will not materially change the method for determining advancement or the winner after a voting round has begun except where reasonably necessary to address such circumstances.
Material changes will be posted on the Contest website when reasonably practicable.
-
GSPA’s decisions regarding eligibility, entry acceptance, rule interpretation, voting integrity, advancement, disqualification, and certification of Contest results are final, subject to applicable law.
Questions or challenges specifically concerning a suspected voting error or certified Contest result may be submitted as provided in these Terms & Conditions.
B. Eligibility and Entry
-
Contestants must be at least 18 years old as of the date they enter.
-
You may not enter if you are an employee, an individual directly involved in administering, operating, auditing, or determining the results of the Contest, and members of their immediate families or households may not enter unless otherwise expressly permitted by GSPA. You may not enter if you have previously withdrawn or been removed from the Sound & Energy Healer of the Year Contest (for any reason) in any year.
-
The standard Contest application period will begin on the date published on the official Contest website. In 2026 year the contest opens for applications on September 1st EST.
The standard deadline to submit an application is September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
-
Late applications may be submitted from October 1, 2026, through October 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, subject to payment of a $15 late application fee.
The $15 late application fee is an administrative fee and is separate from any charitable donations made to Brighter Healing Foundation in connection with additional voting. The late application fee is not a charitable donation.
-
No new applications will be accepted after 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 5, 2026.
Applications submitted, received, or attempted after that deadline will not be accepted, regardless of missed deadlines, misunderstanding of the deadline, or other circumstances, except where GSPA determines that an error caused solely by the Contest platform prevented a timely submitted application from being received.
-
Payment of the late application fee does not guarantee acceptance into the Contest.
All late applicants remain subject to the same eligibility, application review, content, and approval requirements as applicants who applied during the standard application period.
-
The $15 late application fee is non-refundable once a late application has been submitted, except where required by applicable law or where GSPA determines that the fee was charged because of an error attributable solely to GSPA or the Contest platform.
-
Each individual may submit only one Contestant application/profile for the 2026 Contest.
Duplicate submissions may be combined, rejected, or removed.
-
Contestants must complete the official application and provide all the requested information truthfully.
-
Entries must be submitted using the official Contest entry process.
No other method of entry is required to be accepted.
-
Submission of an application does not guarantee participation.
GSPA may review applications for eligibility, completeness, appropriateness, authenticity, and compliance with these Terms & Conditions before approving a Contestant.
-
An entry may be considered incomplete until all information required by the Contest entry process has been submitted and the Contestant has accepted these Terms & Conditions.
-
Proof that an online application, file, email, form, or other submission was sent does not necessarily constitute proof that it was successfully received, processed, or accepted by GSPA.
Contestants are encouraged to retain copies of their submitted materials and any submission confirmation.
-
GSPA may request an original or higher-quality copy of any photograph, recording, video, document, or other submitted material when reasonably necessary for Contest administration, verification, publicity, or promotion.
-
Contestants are responsible for ensuring that all information they provide is truthful, accurate, current, and complete.
-
Contestants must have all rights, permissions, releases, and authorizations reasonably necessary to submit and authorize use of photographs, video, audio, written content, music, trademarks, logos, testimonials, or other materials included in their entry.
-
GSPA may reject, moderate, or remove content that:
-
Is incomplete, incorrect, unintelligible, inaudible, or otherwise unusable;
-
Is defamatory, threatening, abusive, unlawful, obscene, or malicious;
-
Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other third-party rights;
-
Contains materials for which the Contestant does not possess required permissions;
-
Contains false or materially misleading information;
-
Violates these Terms & Conditions; or
-
Is otherwise inappropriate for the Contest.
-
GSPA may request reasonable documentation to verify a Contestant’s identity, age, eligibility, or compliance with these Terms & Conditions.
Failure to provide reasonably requested verification may result in rejection, removal, disqualification, or prize forfeiture.
-
GSPA is not responsible for reimbursing Contestants for costs or expenses incurred in preparing an entry, entering, promoting participation in, or otherwise participating in the Contest unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
-
GSPA may disqualify a Contestant who tampers with the entry process, submits materially false information, acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, threatens, abuses, or harasses another person, or otherwise materially violates these Terms & Conditions.
C. Contestant Content, Rights and Publicity
-
Contestants retain ownership of their original submitted content.
-
By entering, Contestants grant GSPA, Brighter Healing Foundation, and authorized Contest partners a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to reproduce, display, publish, distribute, crop, resize, excerpt, edit for length or formatting, combine with other promotional materials, and otherwise use Contestant-submitted materials in connection with:
-
Administering the Contest;
-
Contestant profiles;
-
Voting pages;
-
Finalist and winner announcements;
-
Websites;
-
Social media;
-
Email;
-
Public relations;
-
Advertising and promotional materials;
-
Media coverage;
-
Contest recaps;
-
Audio, video, podcast, broadcast, streaming, digital, print, and other media; and
-
Promotion of current and future Sound & Energy Healer of the Year programs.
This permission includes use of Contestant names, photographs, biographies, locations, quotes, comments, testimonials, videos, audio, social media handles, websites, and other materials submitted for public Contest use.
No additional compensation, approval, notice, or payment is owed for such use.
-
GSPA is not obligated to use any submitted content and may use all, part, or none of a Contestant’s submitted materials.
-
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Contestants consent to reasonable editing, cropping, formatting, excerpting, adaptation, or other use of submitted Contest materials that might otherwise implicate moral rights or similar rights, and agree not to assert such rights against reasonable uses authorized by these Terms & Conditions.
This provision does not transfer ownership of the Contestant’s underlying content to GSPA.
-
To the extent permitted by applicable law, each Contestant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GSPA, Brighter Healing Foundation, and the Contest Parties from third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable costs arising from the Contestant’s submitted content, the Contestant’s violation of another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or the Contestant’s material breach of these Terms & Conditions.
-
GSPA is not responsible for unauthorized copying, sharing, downloading, reposting, misuse, or other use of publicly displayed Contest content by third parties.
D. Contest Rounds, Finalists and Advancement
-
The Contest may include multiple public voting rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, and a Final Round.
|
Round 1 |
Oct. 1–11 |
|
Round 2 |
Oct. 12–22 |
|
Round 3 |
Oct. 23–30 |
-
The official dates, opening and closing times, group structure, number or percentage of Contestants advancing, and treatment of vote totals between rounds will be published in the Contest Information before the applicable voting round begins.
-
Contestants may be placed into voting groups.
Group size and placement may vary depending upon the number of eligible Contestants and operational requirements.
-
Advancement will be determined according to the official advancement rules published for each round.
-
If vote totals are reset, reduced, weighted, adjusted, or otherwise modified between rounds, the applicable method will be explained in the Contest Information before the applicable voting round begins.
-
Contestants who advance may be referred to as “Finalists,” “Semi-Finalists,” or another designation appropriate to the applicable round.
-
GSPA is not required to provide individualized notification to every Contestant who does not advance.
Contestants are responsible for reviewing official Contest announcements, results, emails, and/or their Contest account.
-
The names, photographs, locations, profiles, and advancement status of advancing Contestants may be publicly announced.
-
If an advancing Contestant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within a required time period, withdraws, is determined to be ineligible, or is otherwise unable to continue, GSPA may recognize an alternate advancing Contestant where reasonably necessary and consistent with the applicable round rules.
-
A Contestant may request to withdraw from the Contest by contacting GSPA.
Withdrawal may result in removal of the Contestant’s profile and eligibility to advance or win.
Votes and charitable donations previously associated with that Contestant will not be transferred to another Contestant or refunded as a result of withdrawal, except where required by applicable law.
E. Free Voting
-
No donation or payment is required to enter the Contest or to cast the permitted daily free vote.
-
Each individual may cast ONE (1) FREE VOTE PER CALENDAR DAY during an active voting period.
-
A voter may use only ONE (1) EMAIL ADDRESS for free voting.
-
The free-voting rule is:
ONE PERSON = ONE EMAIL ADDRESS = ONE FREE VOTE PER DAY.
-
A “calendar day” for purposes of free voting means the period beginning at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
-
A voter may not use multiple email addresses, accounts, identities, or other means to obtain more than one free vote during the same calendar day.
-
Using different devices, browsers, networks, VPNs, proxies, IP addresses, cookies, or similar technologies is not itself prohibited.
However, using any such method for the purpose of circumventing the one-free-vote-per-person-per-day limitation is prohibited.
-
A voter who legitimately loses access to the email address used for free voting may contact GSPA for assistance.
GSPA may approve use of a replacement email address. Once a replacement email is approved, the original address may no longer be used for free voting.
-
The fact that the voting platform technically accepts, records, or displays a vote does not mean that the vote is valid under these Terms & Conditions.
GSPA may review and remove votes that violate the free-voting rules.
-
GSPA and/or its voting platform may use unique-voter information, technical data, account information, or other fraud-prevention measures that are not displayed publicly to identify duplicate, fraudulent, automated, or otherwise prohibited voting activity.
-
Voters are responsible for any ordinary internet access, mobile data, messaging, carrier, or similar charges incurred in connection with participating in voting.
F. Additional Votes and Charitable Donations
-
In addition to the one free vote permitted per person per calendar day, supporters may have the opportunity to receive additional votes associated with a charitable donation made through the Contest voting platform.
-
ALL PAYMENTS MADE FOR ADDITIONAL VOTES ARE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO BRIGHTER HEALING FOUNDATION, A 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION.
-
THE PAYMENT IS NOT MADE TO THE CONTESTANT AND IS NOT A PURCHASE FROM GSPA.
-
Selecting a Contestant in connection with a donation determines the additional votes associated with that donation. It does not restrict, earmark, or direct the charitable funds to that Contestant.
Donations are made to Brighter Healing Foundation for use in furtherance of its charitable mission.
-
The one-email limitation applies to FREE voting.
It does not limit the number of charitable donations a supporter may choose to make for additional votes, subject to applicable payment-processing, fraud-prevention, and Contest rules.
-
ALL DONATIONS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND OR REVERSAL IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
By making a donation associated with additional votes, the donor acknowledges and agrees that:
-
The payment is a charitable donation to Brighter Healing Foundation;
-
The donation supports Brighter Healing Foundation regardless of the outcome of the Contest;
-
The donation is not made directly to the selected Contestant;
-
The donation is not conditioned upon the Contestant winning or advancing;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because the Contestant does not win;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because the Contestant is eliminated;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because the Contestant withdraws;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because the Contestant is disqualified;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because the Contestant changes groups or does not advance;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because votes are adjusted, corrected, or removed in accordance with these Terms & Conditions;
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because Contest dates, rounds, voting periods, prizes, or other Contest elements are postponed or modified; and
-
The donor is not entitled to a refund because the Contest is suspended or cancelled, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
-
Donors are not entitled to a refund, rebate, chargeback, or other reversal of a donation merely because they disagree with a Contest result, advancement decision, disqualification, vote adjustment, or other good-faith application of these Terms & Conditions.
Brighter Healing Foundation and/or its applicable payment processor reserves the right to contest improper chargebacks or reversals that are inconsistent with the donor’s acknowledgment at the time the donation was made, subject to applicable law and card-network rules.
-
Donations made in connection with additional voting will be used by Brighter Healing Foundation in furtherance of its charitable mission and in accordance with applicable law.
-
The availability and amount of any charitable tax deduction depends upon applicable law and the donor’s individual tax circumstances.
Neither GSPA nor Brighter Healing Foundation guarantees that any donation associated with additional votes is fully or partially tax deductible. Donors should consult their own tax adviser.
-
If a valid donation is successfully processed but the corresponding additional votes fail to appear because of a verified technical or administrative error, GSPA will make reasonable efforts to investigate and correct the vote total.
-
If additional votes are invalidated because of fraud, prohibited activity, payment fraud, rule violations, or another valid enforcement action, the underlying charitable donation remains final and non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
-
By completing a donation associated with additional votes, the donor confirms that they understand the payment is a charitable donation to Brighter Healing Foundation and is irrevocable and non-returnable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
G. Voting Integrity and Prohibited Activity
-
GSPA may review, audit, adjust, invalidate, or remove votes when it reasonably believes voting activity violates these Terms & Conditions or threatens the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
-
Prohibited voting activity includes, but is not limited to:
-
Automated voting;
-
Bots;
-
Scripts;
-
Macros;
-
Software-assisted voting;
-
Vote farms;
-
Artificially created accounts;
-
Multiple email addresses used by one person to obtain extra free votes;
-
False identities;
-
Unauthorized use of another person’s identity or email;
-
Circumvention of daily free-vote limits;
-
Manipulation of devices, networks, IP addresses, VPNs, proxies, cookies, browser settings, or similar technologies for the purpose of generating invalid additional free votes;
-
Exploitation of platform bugs or vulnerabilities;
-
Fraudulent payments;
-
Coordinated artificial vote inflation;
-
Vote-manipulation services;
-
Chargeback schemes;
-
Harassment, threats, coercion, or intimidation related to voting; or
-
Any other activity reasonably determined by GSPA to have been designed to unfairly manipulate Contest voting.
-
Publicly displayed vote totals are preliminary and unofficial.
-
Advancement and winner results become official only after GSPA has completed any reasonably necessary voting-integrity review and certified the applicable results.
-
GSPA may adjust vote totals during or after a voting round when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, duplicate voting, prohibited voting activity, technical errors, payment issues, or other violations.
-
A Contestant will not be disqualified solely because fraudulent or invalid votes were cast for them by a third party without evidence that the Contestant participated in, directed, knowingly encouraged, knowingly facilitated, or knowingly purchased the prohibited activity.
-
Where fraudulent or invalid votes can reasonably be isolated, GSPA may remove those votes without disqualifying the Contestant.
-
GSPA may disqualify a Contestant who knowingly engages in, directs, purchases, facilitates, or encourages prohibited voting activity. You are disqualified if you have been removed for any reason in past contest of any kind by partner orgnizations and attempt to enter again.
-
Any challenge concerning a suspected voting error or certified result must be submitted to GSPA within 48 hours after publication of the applicable certified result.
GSPA may investigate the challenge and make a final determination.
H. Contestant Promotion and Conduct
-
Contestants are encouraged to promote their participation in the Contest.
Contestants may promote themselves through social media, websites, email, text messaging, advertising, media appearances, community outreach, or other lawful promotional methods.
-
Contestants may encourage supporters to:
-
Vote;
-
Return daily for their free vote;
-
Share Contestant voting links; and
-
Make charitable donations associated with additional votes.
-
Contestants may not:
-
Misrepresent themselves as an employee, spokesperson, or official representative of GSPA or Brighter Healing Foundation;
-
Make materially false statements about the Contest;
-
Misrepresent charitable donations as personal payments to themselves;
-
Harass, threaten, intimidate, abuse, or defame another Contestant or other person;
-
Encourage others to violate the voting rules;
-
Tamper with the entry process or operation of the Contest;
-
Participate in prohibited voting activity; or
-
Engage in conduct reasonably determined to threaten the fairness, integrity, safety, or proper operation of the Contest.
I. Winner Determination
-
Advancement and winner selection will be determined according to the rules published for the applicable voting round.
-
Unless the official Final Round rules state otherwise, the eligible Contestant receiving the highest certified valid vote total in the Final Round will be named Sound & Energy Healer of the Year 2026.
-
Only valid votes remaining after any applicable integrity review, audit, correction, or adjustment will count toward the certified result.
-
In event of a tie, time will be extended by 2 hours, and contestants will be notified at time of decision.
-
GSPA will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using the contact information provided during entry.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 48 hours following reasonable notification attempts, is determined to be ineligible, declines the title or applicable prize, or otherwise cannot fulfill required winner obligations, GSPA may recognize an alternate winner consistent with the Contest rules.
-
The winner must be reasonably available to participate in Contest-related winner announcements, interviews, photographs, video, publicity, promotional materials, and/or events when reasonably requested by GSPA.
If a winner refuses or is unable to participate in material winner obligations after reasonable efforts to accommodate them, GSPA may take appropriate action consistent with the Contest rules, including recognition of an alternate winner where appropriate.
J. Prizes
-
Contest prizes will be described on the official Contest Prize Page.
-
Prizes may be supplied by GSPA, Brighter Healing Foundation, sponsors, partner organizations, or other third parties.
-
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
-
Prizes are non-transferable;
-
Prizes may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash or other value;

International winners are responsible for customs, duties, taxes, travel requirements, and other costs associated with accepting or using a prize.
-
Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, local, international, or other taxes arising from receipt, acceptance, or use of a prize.
-
Winners may be required to provide identification, tax information, eligibility documentation, releases, or other reasonably necessary documentation before a prize is awarded.
Failure to provide required documentation may result in forfeiture of the applicable prize.
-
If a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside GSPA’s reasonable control, GSPA may substitute a reasonably comparable prize where practicable.
-
Third-party prize sponsors are responsible for fulfillment of prizes they provide.
GSPA may reasonably assist with prize coordination but is not responsible for a third-party sponsor’s failure, cancellation, insolvency, scheduling restrictions, lack of availability, or other inability to fulfill a promised prize.
-
GSPA may withhold, refuse to provide, revoke, or seek recovery of a prize if a winner is later determined to have been ineligible, fraudulent, dishonest, engaged in inappropriate or improper conduct affecting the Contest, or materially violated these Terms & Conditions.

IMPORTANT VOTING NOTICE
NO DONATION OR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR TO CAST THE PERMITTED DAILY FREE VOTE.
ONE PERSON = ONE EMAIL ADDRESS = ONE FREE VOTE PER DAY.
Using multiple email addresses, accounts, identities, or technical methods to obtain additional free votes is prohibited.
ADDITIONAL PAID VOTES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH CHARITABLE DONATIONS MADE TO BRIGHTER HEALING FOUNDATION, A 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION.
THE DONATION IS NOT A PAYMENT TO THE CONTESTANT.
Selecting a Contestant determines the additional votes associated with the donation. It does not direct or earmark the donated funds to that Contestant.
ALL DONATIONS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND OR REVERSAL IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Donations remain non-refundable regardless of whether a Contestant advances, withdraws, is eliminated, is disqualified, changes groups, or wins, and regardless of valid vote adjustments made in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
Your donation supports Brighter Healing Foundation regardless of the Contest outcome.
