  • I am Rachel, owner of Rose Wellbeing Therapies in South West Scotland, UK. I am a Sound & Energy Healer, where I have been sharing holistic wellbeing practices through my business since 2018.

My work brings together Sound Healing, Reiki, energy work, yoga and somatic practices to create safe, nurturing spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and simply breathe.

I offer Sound Journeys, Reiki and individual wellbeing sessions, as well as community-based events, making holistic practices accessible within a rural community where opportunities to experience this kind of work can be limited.

For me, healing isn't about creating a perfect experience or having to travel somewhere far away to find wellbeing. It can happen within our own communities, in familiar spaces, and sometimes simply by giving someone permission to stop, rest and receive.

My approach is integrative, bringing together sound, vibration, energy, movement, breath, stillness and somatic awareness to support people in reconnecting with themselves.
  • What makes me a Sound & Energy Healer of the Year is not the size of my events, but the reach and impact they can have within a small rural community.

I am based in South West Scotland, UK, where sound healing is still relatively unfamiliar to many people. I have made it my mission to bring these experiences into the heart of the community, creating opportunities for people to discover Sound Healing who may never have considered attending a retreat, festival or specialist wellbeing event.

For some people, coming to a Sound Journey is simply an opportunity to relax. For others, it can be the first time in a long time that they have given themselves permission to stop, be still and receive. I have seen how powerful it can be to create these moments in a community where people know one another, connections naturally form, and wellbeing doesn't feel inaccessible or intimidating.

I am particularly passionate about reaching rural communities. Living outside major towns and cities shouldn't mean having fewer opportunities to experience holistic wellbeing. I want Sound Healing to feel available to ordinary people in ordinary places, not something that only happens at large retreats or destination wellness events.

Community is at the heart of what I do. Alongside my regular Sound Journeys and healing work, I use my platform to bring people together and support causes that matter locally. Most recently, I organised care bags as part of a team as a way of giving something back to people within the community and turning wellbeing into something that can be shared.

My journey has never been about creating the biggest events or reaching the largest audience. It has been about creating meaningful experiences, one person and one community at a time.

I believe there is enormous value in bringing Sound and Energy Healing into smaller communities, because sometimes the smallest room can create the biggest sense of connection.

That is what I hope to represent as Sound & Energy Healer of the Year: making healing accessible, creating connection, and helping people discover that they don't have to go far to find a moment of peace.
