- Hello! I am Stacy Notestine. I am a nurse, yoga and meditation teacher, reiki master, and sound healer. I have been teaching yoga and meditation since 2017 and will complete my 300hr yoga teacher training Oct 2026. I have been a sound healer for the past 3 years. The last 3 summers I introduced weekly yoga and sound baths to the community of Kelleys Island where I reside in the summers and fall. It has been so gratifying to combine my knowledge as a nurse w/ my knowledge as a sound healer to influence the health and wellness of those visiting and residing on the island. The beautiful sounds of the bowls, chimes, and rain stick combined with the calming sounds of the lake, birds, and soft breeze are simply magical. During the winter months I partner with a local hot yoga studio leading sound bath meditations which offers a wonderful alternative for students to experience slowing down, reconnecting with self and allowing the simplicity of the sound to bathe the nervous system.
- RYT 200, will complete a YTT 300 hr program in Oct 2026, Reiki Master, Certified Sound Healer.
- For the past three years, I have had the honor of bringing yoga, wellness, and sound bath meditation to Kelleys Island which is a place that has become not only a home away from home, but an important part of my own healing journey as a two time cancer survivor. My intention has always been to create more than a yoga class or sound bath; my intention is to create a space where people feel safe to slow down, breathe deeply, let go, and reconnect with themselves and with one another. Through movement, breath, meditation, and the healing vibrations of sound, I have witnessed people find moments of peace, connection, and renewal. I believe being a healer is less about having all the answers and more about holding space, listening, connecting, and reminding others of the healing wisdom they already carry within themselves. Over the past three years, I have watched a beautiful wellness community grow on the Island, and I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of that. I share these practices because I believe everyone deserves moments of stillness, restoration, and connection and because I have experienced firsthand how powerful those moments can be. Being chosen as Sound & Energy Healer of the Year would be an incredible honor for myself and the community of Kelleys Island, but the greatest reward has already been seeing people return to a greater sense of peace and calm and spread that out into the world.
