- Elise Bish, founder of Ambrosia Resonance, is a sound healer, folk herbalist, and systemic family constellator based out of Providence, RI. Elise began studying sound and energy healing in 2019, and is currently a certified expert-level sound healer. Ambrosia Resonance is a soft place to land, woven from sound, plant allies, and ancestral connection, that nourishes the nervous system, awakens the senses, and invites people into belonging with themselves and the Earth. Because everything belongs—the joy, the grief, the body’s wisdom, the silence between sounds. Ambrosia Resonance is a devotion to harmony and acceptance, a sanctuary for sensitive souls and those carrying the weight of overwhelm, illness, trauma, and oppression. Through 1-on-1 sessions, group sound journeys, and community workshops, Elise creates safe, reverent spaces for people to explore embodiment, receive nourishment, and reconnect with their innate wholeness.

Ambrosia Resonance is my devotion to harmony and acceptance, a sanctuary for sensitive souls and those carrying the weight of overwhelm, illness, trauma, and oppression. My practice is deeply inspired by my own healing journey, and it aims to provide support, care, and hope to my local community in Rhode Island and beyond.
Although I've been weaving sound into my healing work since 2020, this past couple of years have reshaped my life and my purpose. In early 2024, at the age of 36, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After my diagnosis, I was faced with life-altering decisions, surgeries, long-term treatment decisions, and so much uncertainty around my health and my future. Facing cancer brought waves of fear, grief, tenderness, trust, support, and care. Gratefully, I received an early diagnosis, and with the nourishment of my community and the skill of my doctors, I've made a full recovery and am now cancer-free.
Throughout my treatment and surgical recovery, I turned to sound healing as an integral part of my healing journey. When I was unable to play for myself, my colleagues and mentors wrapped me in sound. My pain lowered, my heart soothed, my body relaxed. The impact was healing. When I was well enough to play, sound healing became my solace, support, and a safe space to explore my emotions and reconnect with my aliveness, joy, and hope.
Over the last 2 years, I have turned my focus and inspiration toward building and growing Ambrosia Resonance, my sound healing practice, to offer gentle yet powerful healing containers to my community in Rhode Island. Along with providing monthly guided sound baths in my local community, I've also been traveling throughout the Northeast, offering low/no-cost community sound journeys and 1-on-1 sound healing sessions to those whose lives have been touched by cancer. I've been able to offer Sound Healing for Cancer Support in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New York. This has been an act of service and love for those who are giving their all to healing from or living with cancer. I'm deeply moved by this work, and by the resilience and strength of those I meet on their healing path.
The opportunity of winning Sound Healer of the Year would provide me with resources to expand my offerings and impact for those facing cancer and their loved ones. My goal is to continue to build strategic partnerships with organizations throughout New England, traveling to new cities and communities to reach more folks. I'm also in the process of creating an online library of sound healing meditations, affirmations, and resources that are attuned to the needs of those impacted by cancer. My intention is to keep all of these resources free to the community, as cancer treatment often comes with a financial burden.
Outside of Sound Healing for Cancer Support, my Ambrosia Resonance offerings have been blossoming. My regular sound baths are selling out, and community members are leaving sessions with more connection to their hearts, bodies, and the cycles of nature. I've been collaborating with artists, dancers, and musicians, expanding beyond sound journeys and into artistic expressions that invite the audience into a deeper exploration of the world around them and within themselves. I am receiving as much as I am giving as I explore, play, and continue to expand my skillset.
These past 2 years have been filled with gratitude, gratitude for my life, gratitude for the ability to be of service, and gratitude for the creative and inspiring opportunities that being a sound healer has provided. It would be an honor and a privilege to be Sound Healer of the Year, and you can be sure that the gifts awarded with this title will be offered right back to those who need it most.
