My name is Lonnie Jeffries. I’m a Lakota woman from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and co-founder of Sacred Spirit Studio, a mobile wellness practice I share with my daughter, Franki, in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
My own journey through anxiety, grief, and healing led me to this work. Together, we offer sound and vibration through vibroacoustic beds and cushions, guided meditation, breathwork, and Reiki. We bring these experiences into community gatherings, events, and small sessions, offering gentle support for people carrying stress, loss, and emotional pain.
My connection to Creator, the land, and my ancestors shapes how I hold space for others. Sacred Spirit Studio is still growing, and our purpose is close to my heart: helping people feel supported, reconnect with themselves, and experience moments of peace. - Guided Meditation, Somatic Breathwork Facilitation, Vibroacoustic Sound Sessions, Nature-Based Grounding, and Creative Meditation Writing

I know what it feels like to spend years carrying anxiety, grief, and old hurts, and how much it means to begin feeling peace within yourself. That experience is what called me to this work. As I found practices that helped me, I wanted to make them available to others.
My daughter, Franki, and I created Sacred Spirit Studio to bring sound, vibration, breathwork, and meditation into our communities. Our practice is mobile. We load up our soundbeds and cushions and bring people a place to rest, breathe, and receive care.
As a Lakota woman, my connection to Creator, my ancestors, and the land is part of how I live and serve. I bring that connection, my lived experience, and a willingness to keep learning into every session. I want people to feel welcome as they are, with room to choose their own pace.
Our work is still growing. Each person who trusts us with a part of their day matters to me. I know how much someone may be carrying when they walk through the door.
Entering this contest is a step toward allowing myself to be seen, too. I believe Creator has work for me to do, and I am grateful to be doing it alongside my daughter. At Sacred Spirit Studio, we come from love. That is where I begin.
